    • I work on the limits, the tensions and the fragilities of the contemporary society. It concerns me the point or the moment where elements, individuals or situations confront to each other and they have to deal what is the position to take to be in harmony, or emphasize the friction between them. It is in this point where fragility becomes a beautiful force to itself to create a new scope for the achievement. Inside these fissures I find the main ideas of my work. I take these frictions carefully and thought about them from distance, where the vulnerability is susceptible of being penetrated and transformed in powerful by the form of an artpiece. I concentrate on the material or the substance in its natural state; the reflex in the raw, still not treated or purified material, and I transmute it into a creative form. The main idea of my work is to show these concepts as strong qualities which transform the differences or resistances inside these relations into skills of growing in one and in the collective knowledge. For what I look essentially is to transform the invisible thing; the emotions, the thoughts, the feelings and the vibrations into symbols, objects, sounds and images or a composition of them. • I am interested in working with the structural elements of painting to create an image that extends beyond the limits of picture. I use the wall as a large canvas extending the limits of the painting outside the frame. The painting in this way makes the viewer see the wall as a part of it.

    • My Art is Painting. But painting - for me - is not just 'color, brush and canvas', it is also 'color, camera and computer' and 'color, fabric and sewing machine'. Painting, that happens first of all in my head, in my imagination and in my perception. Painting, that is COLOR. My life is COLOR. Color - that means 'light' and 'emotions' and 'energy'. Color is the elixier of -my- life!

    • Today's society suffers of identity crisis, we should be able to recognize our roots and culture, and than we should be able to destroy and rebuild it if necessary. I start my works trying to talk about a universal concept that can be hidden inside a personal experience. my body, my feelings, my roots are just some tools that I use to speak about something that can be everyone's experience.

    • Visual artist working only with video. The Bezeta's work is simple and direct. His videos approach topics from his allday-life, little tells about his personal reflections, his walking, his daily routine, little poetic dissertation about quite simple topics. All this with a very personal optic, whose visual approximation surprises for his freshness and unpredictability. There is almost not separation between work and life. Although the simplicity of his works, is clear his interest in searching the experimentation in the images and the topics, trying to overwork each new work. The work intention, between video-art and cinema, is telling stories with many layers in them, more complex than they can seem. I love Luis Buñuel, Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol,,,

    • MAIN INTEREST: interest in the grey zones between reality and imagination. Imaginary narratives play an important role throughout Mircheva’s work. A combination of the artist’s and the viewer’s imaginations is required to connect the dots in her otherwise patchy repertoire of glitches, found objects, imperfections and twilight zones. The author seems to be constantly wishing to shake our trust in the accuracy, clarity, and reality of our perceptions of the world that are formed by contemporary digital culture. Her works include prints, models, short videos, digital and interactive animations, photography, various digital images, found images, drawings.

STATEMENT "I work in a variaty of media, including single-channel videos, installations, performances, experimental documentaries and photography. My research is based on examining the connections between the camera, subject, author and viewer. I'm interested in issues such as the construction of identity, communication and voyeurism. I also investigate how the relationship between our body and the surrounding world (ie. nature or urban settings and culture) shapes our identity. I am interested in the encounter with the other, mediated by video. My works often involve participative methods, engaging communities in the creative process, as well as collaboration with other artists such as visual artists, dancers, musicians, writers, actors and performers. Constructing situations of which I have limited control, I try to make the collaborators and myself get out of our comfort zones, provoking unexpected, spontaneous results. My works can be seen as experimentations in social interaction and self-exploration – for the participants, the viewer and myself." -- KIKA NICOLELA

    • My life and photography are indissolubly joined. The philosophy of life and visual conception are used as a means of freely expressing fears and problems. For me, starting each project is equivalent to submerging myself in an adventure towards the unknown; the most essential thing is the creative process itself. Throughout this process, memories, ideas and feelings arise, which are determinant in the final result. In my life there is an ongoing obsession with death, religion, chaos, mystery and the soul. A photograph is full of twists and turns. The images breathe, think, believe, and act. For me, photography is a way to get closer to transcendence. I have found a way of finding myself. The process of creation is nothing but the process of life; a photograph is a fragment of the path, a small summary of the experience lived.
