    • I think that… Art ... is intimate, sincere. Art which moves me, makes shake me and which makes shake you, which contains emotions and feelings ... that's what makes vibrate me when I paint and when I ´m back-front of the camera. Art ... which hides my vital need, my way of being, of behaving ... a way of life. I´m interested in the art which i can feel more than the art which is thought and this's what I try to express with "my art". I like to tell stories, describe situations either through video or colors in my hands; discern feelings of different experiences in my life, so many emotions! ... My art is more sensual than intellectual, in the most authentic and pure definition of "sensual". In my paintings and illustrations you can see influences from various styles like impressionist painting, art brut, pop art, naive painting, shamanic art, rock art, street art ... In my videos: Corporeal Identity. I consider that the most important is talent specific to each person which expressing through different techniques and different formats on their personal experiences. I´m influenced and identified in the painting with artists as Henri Rousseau(“Woman Walking in Exotic Forest”),Vincent Van Gogh(“La noche estrellada”, “Des sterrennacht”),Edvard Munch(“Moonlight”), Auguste Herbin(“Bailleux II”),Vilmos Huszár(“Vincent”), Max Ernst(“Paysage avec lune”),Victor Brauner(“Gemini”), Karel Appel(“Grito de libertad”),Yayoi Kusama, Sue Williams(“Portrait Of The Artist As A Young Woman”), Jean Michel Basquiat(“Carbon/ Oxygen”),Rigo 23 … In video artists as Marina Abramovic, Dan Graham, Doug Aitken, Gary Hill, Robert Cahen, Peter Campus, Clearbout, Candice Breitz, Tony Oursler, Aernout Mik … And finally in dance Laban, Carolyn Carlson, Pina Bausch, Mª José Ribot… www.carmenesplaespejo.blogspot.com

    • I am interested in the symbiosis between the organic thing and the technological thing as source of inspiration that it communicates with the spiritual of the human desires. The video is for me the most natural way of expression though I don't leave of side other artistic aspects.

    • i photograph unique details found in the urban landscapes. the images i discover are found on the sidewalks that we walk on daily and that otherwise go unnoticed. my images are abstract interpretations of the micro-reality that surrounds us all. i do not use photoshop enhancements and artificial lighting. i often return to the same spot over and over again to reshoot the same photograph at different times of the day to ensure that i have chosen the most appropriate lighting.

INTACT is an experimental research project in the field of cyberculture, dedicated to the development of teleshared actions by telepresence and the construction of a network of cooperation for telematics shared creation. The purpose of a teleshared action is to produce a collaborative artwork among two or more users. Sharing through Internet all kind of archives and audiovisual information o sensory through software and hardware, which take and place in common areas diverse artistic manifestations in real time. The result of teleshared action is a creation in co-responsibility (coauthor) among users connected, where each one is -at the same time- client/server (nodes). The conformation of networks has as a main purpose to promote the discussion and critical thinking around remote creation, and also to enforce the possibilities of new procedures associated to it, and the troubles of actual communication coming from telematics. Our research is an attempt to observe the mind’s negotiations within its process to understand the construction of augmented reality, as well as the transformation, within a system of mediatized communication and perception, of oneself in front of another. Creation through distance, via telematic transmission, participate in the demolition of sociocultural and territorial borders, sheds light on the drama of absence and the possibility of cohesion between people through technological spell.
